Cell phone display stopped working?

I have a Motorola V555 cell phone. Everything on the phone is working except the display. It worked fine yesterday but this morning all of a sudden the display doesn't work. Has anyone experienced this and does anyone know if it might be a setting on the phone that may have gotten messed up. Or is the phone broken? Thanks!

your best bet is to take it to a repair shop...had it fallen down from your hands?? or any liquid spill?

try removing the battery, let it rest for sometime, maybe drying up and then connect the battery back...if it doesnt work, not much choice except to repairs
