Learned a lovely lesson years ago...went a bit loopy and charged everything...only to spend the next 5 months paying it off. Most of the presents were forgotten about by that time! So from that point on...Christmas spending isn't put on the credit cards, it's budgeted and I don't spend more than I have allocated.

Well, I'm 19 so I have the lovely option of a fresh credit start, and I plan on maintaining good credit so I don't end up in debt.
And to answer your question... yep, they will be maxed out, but also paid off that very month.
Happy holidays! Or is that too soon of me to say?

I pay cash for Christmas. Credit cards are for the rest of the year.

I have never used a credit card to buy an xmas gift in my life!! I don't see the point in charging everything and taking months to pay it off. I use cash.

No I learned never to max them out. Made that mistake years ago. I have already done most my shopping. I start early so I don't have to max them out.

Cash, I always use cash because credit cards can lead to trouble.

Well I don't have a credit card so we'll be paying cash so we'll probably go broke.
