Since Materazzi already apologized to Zidane,so I think Zidane should apologize to Materazzi too. That should be fair then. Both of them are at fault,so both of them should apologize to each other. But Zidane already said that he won't apologize because if he does,it means that whatever Materazzi said is right then.
Sorry Juventina, but come to think of it,Zidane has a better reason to headbutt Materazzi and Materazzi has not really a good reason to provoke Zidane.Materazzi shouldn't have provoked Zidane. And I agree with andygurl 100%.No offense intended.

**** no. he deserved it! plus Zidane said in an interview that if he apologized to him, it would mean that Materazzi was right for saying what he did. Materazzi shouldn't have provoked him, obviously!! It wasn't right what Zidane did but oh well, it was wrong for Materazzi to say what he said also. Alls fair in love and war!! (or in this case football!)

Zidane has in fact apologized. But he does not regret the headbutt because Materazzi provoked him and the true guilty is Materazzi.

Look, what we think is actually irrelevant. The insults were not spoken to us. Only they know what was said and therefore only Zizou can decide what he should do. Heavens, has Marco ever apologised to all the other players he has hurt and mauled throughout his career Juve. He is no angel either. It's not Zizou that is keeping this incident in the media. Marco has changed his story so many times Juventina, there is no guarantee that his apology holds any sincerity anyway. No offence intended, I respect your opinion on the issue, but this is just how I see it.

Excuse me but Materazzi is the one who provoked..
And Materazzi apologizes as he wishes..But zidane shouldnt because if he apologizes it means that he is agreeing on what Materazzi said

First, Zizou_rocks brings a very good point, should you apologize to someone who trashed your family.
Second, I could not read the article, AOL.CA, no way.
Third, oh yeah, I forgot, MateRATzi put his apologies in a book.

mate I’m amazed by how you still are not bored with this “head-butt”! zizzou should not and will not apologize to Materrazi for hitting him, since materrazi insulted him with such rasistic and offending words… I really don’t think that Zidane should be the one apologizing mate! And as for those that don’t think the same way… well mates you are idiots, sorry for the inconvenience :)
