I just saw a news report on happy slapping and living in America that was the first I have heard of it. Is it as big of a problem in Britain as it has been made out to be? If so, someone needs to literally beat the piss out of this kids.

There were lots of incidents earlier this year...one person even died from it, and others have been stabbed. It seemed to have died down somewhat but I did read of a few cases recently, and Yes, I would agree with you, but sadly society is such nowadays that if you try to protect yourself you are the one in the wrong...

"Happy slapping" was a big news story in the UK about 18 months ago, but I've not heard anything more about it for a long time. I guess it just went out of fashion with the kids that did it..or maybe they discovered that sometimes the victim hits back twice as hard.
