yes it is, in fact after piercing your ear lobe will feel just a little bit plump and will hurt at the slightest move. but not to worry this only lasts a few days and is very normal.

yes. it is because the flesh is healing,adpating to the shape of your stud. try not to move too much. or else pus will form more. but move it a little everyday, or else it'll hurt evn more if you dun turn at all after a few days.

yes...don't remove it for at least two weeks, or till it no longer pains when you remove it. Do turn it daily to preven it from being "attached" to your skin...and but some specialized eardrops from your jeweller's to prevent infection And it feels cool and nice too!!;) haha
