If so, what? (Assuming they don't read YA, of course!)

I got this in my e-mail, and am strongly considering gettting my wife, a lover of both Hello Kitty and black cashmere, this sweater. (Wish I could afford the diamond pendant--that girl loves bling, too!)

Do y'all have a present? Do you wait until the last minute? Do you have an idea yet?

Just wondering...

Actually I bought most of her gifts last year right after christmas. How's that for expectations, LOL??

She collects Pfaltzkraft (not sure of correct spelling) christmas patterned dishware. I was able to get some really nice pieces when our favorite local store was gobbled up by Macy's and they won't carry it at such good prices ever again.

I think I also have a sweet pair of pj's, she's a pj girl as she's about 100lb dripping wet and the cold is not her friend.

I'll probably get her something grandma related as her first granddaughter was born in Sept.

I usually give her a piece of jewelry, was thinking about pearls.

I should say that in my house, Santa exists. I don't buy gifts for people usually through the year, but go all out for christmas/winter holiday.

Oh you're a lovely girlfriend. For Christmas I am giving my girlfriend money to fly within NZ. I am also maybe getting a strap on hehe.

She is going over with her mum and brother at christmas to see her grandparents in NZ. I am staying home because we just came back from there and couldn't afford to get us both over there again. I thought the least I could do is to contribute to getting her over there.

Her grandparents aren't well and they haven't been over as a family since her dad died so I thought it would be nice for them to have some space. That and I get to house sit her mum's house which has air conditiong - great for a hot summer. Be good to have christmas day with her but sad not to see the new year in with her.

Oh my goodness...I'm so following this question! I have NO idea what to get my girlfriend. She's NOT a material person at all and lives very simply so she is extremely hard to buy for at times. One good web site to visit is called Loving You and it is just jamed full of gift ideas that people have given their husbands/wives/partners, etc. I've gotten several ideas off there for various things!

You bet!
My boyfriend's birthday is a month away, then Christmas after that, then our 3rd year anniversary in March.
For his b-day,I am getting him some small stuff for his apartment and a movie or two. Then for Christmas I am looking to get him a new flat screen HDTV. Still not certain on the anniversary gift yet.

Not a big fan of Hello Kitty, but if she likes it- get it. I'm getting my GF a Claggaugh engagement ring (she loves them) with a turquoise stone in the heart. She got me one with rainbow onyx last year, and I feel bad having one and she doesn't. I'm also getting her some stocking stuffers of spongebob squarepants stuff (she loves the little weirdo) and possibly a new canoe rack for her jeep.

Hmm...I think I'm going to go with the old stand-by, jewelry. When in doubt, buy diamonds!
