....A very serious problem...are you sure it's yeast, could be something else, however it doesn't appear to be fatal.....are you constantly taking antibiotics..... you should speak with a doctor it may warrant something stronger than over the counter product
If it is yeast, your partner may be re-infecting you and should be treated as well

It could be diabetes. The year before I found out I had diabetes, I had approximately 5 yeast infections. It is one of the symptoms. It would'nt cost a lot of money to go to a family doctor and get tested to see if your sugar level is abnormal. If they find it to be, then you have it & they prescribe you insulin & it will go away. A lot of people have diabetes & don't even know it. There are a lot of other symptoms, too. Does your skin itch? My back and scalp were always itchy. Does it seem like you cannot get enough to drink? Do you crave sweets & can't seem to get enough of them? There are a lot of other symptoms, I just can't think of all of them right now. You could just have one or several of the symptoms.

When I had those yeast infections, I would buy the Monistat and use it and it would go away, but come back shortly after that. You are not supposed to use this med but a few times because it can damage your liver. I think you should schedule a test. They are not expensive. Don't end up in the hospital like I did.

When you have a yeast infection it is an overgrowth of the yeast in your body. This can happen due to a number of factors. it can be due to dietary factors such as eating too many processed carbohydrates and sugars...that is cakes, white breads, white rice, pasta, soft drinks etc..It also can be due to your immune system being comprised by use or over usage of antibiotics, over the counter medications, or even the treatments that the doctors give you to actually treat the yeast. i found a natural therapies website where you can by products to help your body through natural treatments. You can find many natural therapy treatments by doing a general search on line for Natural therapy/treatments for yeast infections. There is a better way. You do not need to suffer for life.I lost the web address to the site I found. But what i can promise you is that when I do find it I will send you the link. For now I would recommend that you try to stay clear of most fruits eat as many veggies as you can..the less you cook them the better and avoid the white stuff..try to eat whole grains...from a health food store..the ones you find at the regular grocer are not total whole grains. Get your self some organic Kefir..from health food store...it is similar to yogurt and try to get a detox tea /aid and a good pro-biotic supplement. i hope this info helped you.ADDENUM........ CHECK OUT ROCKWELLNUTRITION.COM I FOUND THE LINK......

It may be a yeast infections. Especially if you have been with same partner for all this time. He may have gotten it and you two are passing it back and forth. Whenever I get an infection I get a perscription for diflucan one for me and one for my husband . problem solved. It could also be canidisis which is a yeast infection in your stomac. another poster mentioned cutting out sugar, wheat, yeast. Go to your doctor rule out yeast infection, vaginitis. If nothing works try keeping a food journal and see if your symptoms worsen when you eat a particular food. You can also try taking some Acidophilos, you can get at your pharmacy in the supplement section.

It could be a yeast syndrome, like mine. Check out www.hufa.org, the yeast link, for some basic information. The library link has a couple of books about it, too.

Mine is with me because I have a blood sugar imbalance (was hypoglycemic then switched to diabetic). I am on an anti-yeast, anti-sugar diet, and have been for 10+ months, and am getting better, but too slowly. I will be consulting an endocrinologist in December for additional assistance.

It can't possibly be a yeast infection that has lasted this long you would have scratched OFF your vagina by now. It may be bacterial vagitosis. Which is your body producing too much of the natural bacteria inside your vagina. Go to a different obgyn and have him run a few tests.

A tendency to get yeast infections can indicate diabetes or impaired immune function. Talk to your Dr about what's going on.

Try monistat, ask a gyno. If you're sexualy active it's possible that your husband or boyfriend might have something causing it. Most likely it's a bacterial infection thats carried by one of you. It could be from you to, it's possiible that the bacteria grows inside and just never goes away.

You probably wear denim jeans a size too small, creating a camel toe.
Tight jeans do not allow that moist area to ventilate properly and becomes a haven for bacteria.

If it is not a clothing problem, then check these other causes: http://www.msu.edu/~eisthen/yeast/causes.html

I doubt its a yeast infection. to make sure own your own go to your mirror and stick your tongue out, is it white? that would be a sign of a yeast overgrowth in your body. but what then is causing a 5 year yeast over growth? my thought is that it is a std or worse hiv/aids. sure hope not. go to your gynocologist.
