Very, very carefully. I suggest you make sure the taxes are taken care of first or else Uncle Sam will send you a large bill when tax time comes around.

Take care of any debt you have like paying off your credit card bills, your house if you have one or buy one. Same thing with your car.

Take a nice vacation and when you come back, learn how to invest so you can stretch your money for more fun things.

Sell ur old place.. get some money back.. or stay rich by renting ur old place out privatly.. so many things

Improve your family's lives, help those around you that need help, help yourself - in that order. Remember, human nature means that we want things that we can't have. So be careful with what you buy and don't think that all your problems are solved because there's no way in the world that money alone can do that.

Save some money, invest some and always keep some for the proverbial rainy day.

Quickly and easily.
However, I would suggest you invest at least half in such a way that you can't obtain it on a regular basis. Like setting up your own trust fund with future dates for payouts.
Then SPEND up to $10,000. Shower loved ones with REASONABLE gifts. Let's face it you don't need to buy expensive cars to share with others...try paying someone's bills for a month...a beautiful piece of jewelry...a trip to see relatives/old friend.

Now take $10,000 to DONATE. To a local shelter, Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, or hand out $20 bills to vagrants, depends upon where you are. I also suggest thinking about settup up a scholarship fund in your name at a local high school or community college.

SPEND on yourself - improve your home, take a trip, buy a car, setup a college fund.

Now enjoy the comma in your bank balance for years to come....don't be another statistic of those who win and blow it all within the first year.

Congratulations!!!!

Buy whatever you want. A new big house, a flash car, go on holiday, get some new clothes and if there's any left over that you don't want you could give it to charity or be sensible and save it and gain some interest.

Failing any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact me as I am sure I can provide you with my bank details and I will get rid of it for you : )

A million is'nt that much really, assuming your 30 odd.
Take a salary of £25,000 x 35 years = £875,000
That leaves you with £125,000 to buy a house.
No pension remember!

Emigrate!!!!!

Congragulations (is it true?)
Spend some on charity, save some (lots of) on retirement, spend some on traveling, save some for your kids education, give some to your parents, spend some on insurance, spend a bit on buying things you like, spend some on investment.
