It's one cent unless it is decided to be a collector's item. In which case, it depends on the condition. The "Red Book" supposedly carries the value of most US coins according to condition and rarity.

A 1900 cent would be an Indian head type. We actually do not have pennies, but cents. You need to go to England for pennies. Well we need to grade it, to get it's value. A good coin- no liberty visible in head band $2.00, Very good-at least 3 letters of liberty readable $2.50, Fine- liberty completely visible $2.75, Very fine- slight but even wear on the word liberty $3.50, Extra fine-Liberty sharp all other details sharp, only slight wear on ribbon end. $14.00. One with no wear at all $25.00-$90.00. These are retail prices so expect to get at least 40% less or a little more. hope this helps.

My guess is, $2,000. It was just on the news last night that a 1941 penny, is worth $500. And being that 1900 came becore 1941, it's got to be worth more than a 1941 penny. Right?
