I couldn't stand her when she first came out in the mid-80s, and I always thought she was the biggest media whore ever. Every time I see her on TV, I just want to throw a brick through the screen. What is it going to take for her to just SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN????

CANDACE T, she's not 50 yet. I have to admit i was a early Madonna fan, but have "lost the love" for her in recent years. If anything she has pushed the boundaries of socially accepted behaviour. now day's it doesn't mean crap. I am still a fairly young buck in prospective of things but look back to the 60's and 70's when you had bands like the Beatles / the rolling stones / the kinks/ Simon & garfunkel/ janis joplin / bob dillon ( just too many to mention) pushed boundries and peoples ways of thinking, if it wasn't for creative people we'd all be nun's & priests!!!!

I don't know what your problem is, honestly. Turn the channel if you don't want to see/ listen to her. She didn't ask for this recent crap, all she did was do what I personaly think was an extremely wonderful thing to do and give a child that would have most likely been headed for a poverty stricken, short life...a chance at a long, healthy, and happy one instead...and for some insane reason, people feel the need to bash her for it. What's going on with this world nowadays?

I don't hate Madonna. I just wish she would retire and leave the stage for someone else. I have never liked her...music or the way she shows off. However she is a very good actress. So it wouldn't it be our luck if she leave music for the cinema.

Just turn the TV off if you don't want to see her. God still wants her in this world. Do u know that there is a wise proverb that says, we should be thankful not only to our friends, but to our enemies as well because all of them have a purpose in our lives...they shape us into better persons.

I'm with you....I have never been a fan of her music or especially personality....I think she has the depth of a piece of dental floss.....

she is shallow and stupid and a complete fake.....
she views her own self-indulgence as entitlement by way of a superior attitude she has about herself

I always thought she was the most overrated "singer" ever. Her music is mediocre and won't stand the test of time. She's a product of great marketing.

I agree 100%.

And boy isn't she trying to keep up with Angelina Jolie, huh? (With her "adoption")

She'll never manage it... Angelina is hot, and she has Brad!
