Lord, no ...your body doesn't quit changing for a while. So long as you're still having a period with normal flow (not normal duration) you're okay. Seven days is a bit long for a period anyways...average is three or four. When pregnant, you only have spotting...or at the beginning maybe a light 2 or 3 day implantation that can be confused as one. Having a new job, new roommate, new school...lots of things can cause cycles to change...i was at a regular 4 day cycle every 28 days until i got a new roommate with a 3 day cycle every 30 days...after a couple months, i was on her cycle. Stress, different eating habits, different medication...everything can change your cycle. I would see what the doctor says, but you should be fine.

many medications can cause breakthru, spotting, dysmenorrhea(which is what you are worried abou (which just means you have an abnormality of any kind). amennorhea(abscence of). So, look @ your meds. Esp. new ones or if youve been taking, otc meds even. I pray you have healthcare you need to dicuss or ask the questio again but change your verbage to "this is directedtowards an ob/gyn or ob/gyn nurse. Really though my wife has these probs alot and as age progresses your not near the age of menopause but your winding down to it. this might be your body slow menstral cyle is already cutting you short. Also have you been pregnant? A baby can totally mess around with this ( you here of selfish mothers for example that will breastfeed
till the kid is in preschool serious Ive known one idiot that had a 3'toddler walkup and jump in her lap for his biz. She did this to avoid her period. So Im just shring that w/ you so you see what a child can do to your menses. You know you, yourlife, your meds Even pleasures like rec. drugs ,nicotine, and esp. booze will do this aspirin or ibuprofen can do this as bad as the forementioned b/c yhey thin the blood thus causing you to flow more thus shortening it. but I would look @ meds esp. birth ccontrol. Im a man Im also a medical scientist/chemist Phd So I hope I helped or 2 least pointed you to a area in your life that could explain this THe older you get girl, the more estrogen you loose in manufacturing. So Maybe your doctor could some this all up with a blodtest or look @ the meds. peace, christian love and respect.

Your cycles will change over time. You are not pregnant, if you're having 5-day periods. Stress, diet, exercise pattern, medication - these can all change your cycle, and if it changes once, it's going to stay similar until it changes again. Relax!
