no you don't need it , besides it will conflict , just like having any other 2 antivirus programs

No you do not need it, but becuase you will be transmitting files back and forth with someone you dont know, I mean honestly its microsoft do you really trust that they arent spreading some viruses that they got? i would always keep my norton or such program running.

you don't need it but i would keep it
there is no reason not to and if you have it as well it mite pick up something one care does not
