I have a full page newspaper page from the Detroit Free Press from 1968 that has the Tiger taking up the whole page and in it's huge, roaring mouth and itty bitty Cardinal. Maybe you can get a copy somewhere. We beat the Cards then and....it ain't over till it's done!
