India can't be divided again and again on the basis of religions. A number of Biharis of undivided Pakistan are living in the camps in Bangladesh. Pakistan don't care for them. Are they not Muslims? Isrial is killing their so called Muslim brother in Palistine, Why they are not sending Pak army to protect them? We all the Muslims are selfish and using various terms according to our requirments from time to time. Some time Pakistan is talking decisions on the basis of thier own countire's govermental policies and some time on the ground of Islam. Do you know why? Because we all are selfish. We are not following the rules of Islam truly and this is the reason of our downfall. Love every human being. We all are the creation of Allah. live and let live us peacefully. Sacrifice for others is the basic theory of Islam.

J&K is the integral part of india and it should remain with we all Indians and the people of kashmir feels they are Indians but the problem is only with the polititians who wanted priministirial/presidential ship in short cut and dumping money in to their private account and promote international terrorisome to check the supermacy of US and UK.

Non political people are livig with harmoney eventhough they have diversity in religion. Basic problem of the issue is illiteracy in the socity and polititians taking advantage of these burnig problem. The cental Govt is pumping money to J&K State more than the other Indian states gets for the development of basic infrastructure and the central amenities. The improper utilisation of these public money is the key issue in the State.

We all belive the partion was on the basis of religion but exactly not it was becase the Nehru wanted priministirial ship of India irrespective of Moh Ali Jinna was actual priministerial candidate of India from sind to Indira Point. To comfort J Nehru The India divided. Since J Nehru is from J&K, this State had given a princely statehood other States in India were merged forecefully. Every thing was happened unfortunate and let us correct and decide to no more blood of same colour, same smell and same taste.

We all brothers I strongly feels we should live together irrespecive of religious differences. Religion is for our eternal life and if we fail to live our phisical life what right to stand infront of the God after our unnatural death.

The partion was not based on the idea that all muslim majority areas will become pakistan and Hindu majority areas as Indian unions. If you go by that logic, All the muslim streets and settlements in India should be called pakistan and the Hindu streets in pakistan should be called part of India. It was decided that a country called pakistan will be created with muslims in mind. Any princely state that wanted to join pakistan was free to do so. This was the agreement before partition. Raja Hari Singh was the ruler of Kashmir and he decided that Kashmir will NOT be part of Pakistan. When India got freedom all the princely startes were free to choose which country they wanted to be part of. Kashmir's ruler, chose India. Thats the end of story. India didnot snatch kashmir from pakistan as it being projected by the western media. It was done in a legally and morally correct manner. Your claims that kashmir was not a democracy and hence the decisioon of Harisingh should be discounted is invalid. Because None of the princely states were a democracy at that time. So why a special consideration to Kashmir alone? If you conduct a plebiscite only for Kashmir, then it is unfair to the other princely states, the people of whom had no plebiscite. The rulers made the decision. The point is that the partiton agreement was based on the idea that the rulers of the princely states will decide which country they wanted to belong...but pakistan later backtracked on this and is asking for Kashmir just because it was a muslim majority area. WHY NOT ASK FOR ALL THE MUSLIM MAJORITY STREETS AND SETTLEMENTS IN INDIA ALSO, WITH THE SAME LOGIC? Hyderabad was not acceeded to India because it was a Hindu majority area. The ruler of Hyderabad decided it is better for the pricely state of Hyderabad to be part the Indian Union instead of pakistan. So Hyderabad Joined Indian union.

first of all..it is an excellent question dude and u yourself being a muslim and writing so straight is really admireable.as far as the question is concerned...there does not arise any reason why kashmir should go with pakistan..like many other princely states it is an integral part of INDIA.the only problem is that most muslims from mainland india do not come into public to express their views on different topics ..so people assume it to be other way..but let me tell you one thing that if ever a plebiscite is conducted in kashmir then the people over there wlii always chose INDIA over pakistan because there is development and prosperity in this part of kashmir but not in that part(P O K).this issue cannot be resolved by U N either...to solve this issue we need a very strong PM and a still stronger central government who does not divide the hindus and muslims and also the various castes and sub-castes within the hindu community.every true INDIAn will always want that the entire kashmir be merged with INDIA.

Well, I agree on the selfish part, however the reasons are little more complex. It is possible for Mushraff to be in power only by creating anti Indian sentiments, people will live in hate and belief that evil India is ill treating muslims in kashmir and in other parts as well. If they only knew that there are more muslim brothers in India than in Pakistan. All politicians and king makers play this game of dividing and ruling, if people start thinking they will start demanding and the shallowness of these politicians will be exposed. So hate against India unites people in Pakistan.

India is a dwindling country because of religion. It lost Pakistan to Muslims. Next territory to separate is Kashmir if the government will be laxed in handling territorial dominancy over the area.

pakistan have tried again and again to get rights on kashmir over india, but it hasent worked. thats why indiashud hand over kashmir coz all india is doin to kahmir is killing their people. pakistan are already doing so many unselfish things like being responsible for defense of the uae. open your eyes, not every1 is selfish,, pakistan just cant do anything bout kashmir coz india is in control. and lso india are killing kasmiri citizens everyday

Kudos to my fellow Indian. That is the spirit of India. Remember we have more number of Muslims, in India, than in Pakistan. In our rural culture, we call Muslims as mama, i.e. uncle. I have never seen more warmer people than these uncles.
