Maybe 10 years ago I could see how London is this multicultural, amazing, freespirit, full of oportunities place. My life has improved in those 10 years but my opinion about London is getting wors. I can't find this spark anymore, what is it about London you love/hate and why?

As a student who has just started studying in London, I can say it's a great place. Of course, it's rather expensive but you'll never be without something to do. The travel's quite good as you have many options but the tubes can be quite bad - heat, shere amount of people and price! I'm looking for somewhere nice to live at the moment which is proving quite a challenge due to the high price of renting and living on a student loan. I love the way people are - some are incredibly nice and wll have a chat, mainly on the tube people have v little eye contact and it's quite funny when you're packed in a tube carridge in close contact with others which is very un-British. I love the fact that you'll never find a tube without a foreigner on it. I'm sure my opinion will change however, especially after our Olympics!

What I love about London is the fact that around every corner there is something to do or see. I love the variety in restaurants and stores, and I love going to Covent Gardens or just sitting in Kensington Gardens sipping my coffee and chatting with friends on an afternoon. I love the museum, walking around looking at paintings for hours and just enjoying the art. I love the London Eye and looking out over the city. I love so much about London, but I hate the fact that you can pass a thousand smokers in a three block radius. I always find myself thinking the oncologists must be very busy. Parking is a nightmare.

There quite is, 2 weeks in the past working example, Scotland replaced into the centre of the country and of the international, because it voted in its independence referendum. Liverpool and Manchester additionally get their honest share of the limelight too. yet London is the biggest city by potential of extremely some way, with international classification each and every little thing. it is likewise the place the information and media retailers have the headquarters, so information has a tendency to be very London-centric, and as a result it style of feels that London is the sole place interior the country.

I still love London.
I'm from S-Africa and dreading my return. Despite it's bad points (hoodies, crime and multi cultural bust ups) London is still a whole lot better than Johannesburg.
I'm a student and I can afford to fund myself, even though I only work part time. I can travel safely at night, and can hop over to Europe for the weekend.
I love my country of birth, but I simply don't have these opportunities there.

because London has all Life has to offer."

London, like all other countries are focusing more on developing, making money, and excelling in economical life as opposed to social life. 10 years ago everyone focused more on social life, and the need to develope and grow was not as important as today. I hate how more and more cars are built each day, companies thrive, and we become more and more dependent. This applies not only to London, but almost all countries today.

I can't stand being intimidated on the streets by all those black people so I have left the country. It was either a case of them or me - I couldn't force them to leave so I did.
