Save up and visit once a year - seriously mate, stay out there, the weathers shocking - and not much has changed, except they opened up a new shopping precinct called Met Quarter, the rough bits are still rough, the nice bits are still nice, Everton are still rubbish, they might be about to close Quiggins coz they think it's too scruffy for Capital Of Culture 08, but they really shouldn't as full of goths it maybe but it's still one of the most unique things we've got in the way of shops. Oh, I think they let Michael Sheilds out last week, you know the teenager in prison in Bulgaria - other than that, not much. I'll trade u!

I have been in Australia for 35 years. Brought all my kids up here. And have had a fantastic life. My marriage broke up last year. So I decided to go back home to my family pick up the pieces, go back to my grass roots. I ended up staying for 3 months had a boss time. Everyone said stay your family are all grown up. But my life is here. I miss the scousers humour and sometimes wish there was a liverpool club in Sydney where I could meet people from home. But I know this is where I belong. Lastly doesn't matter how long your here, there are times you will always be home sick, but it's because of the people and not sometimes omit liverpool.

go to bondi beach in sydney , every nationality lives there particularly poms , Scots , and our Irish friends not forgetting the Welshman . but try and meet the locals ; after all what did you come here for ; there is a Liverpool in Sydney , but you'd be disappointed , there 's probably not a ' scouser ' among them . don't give anyone the impression of the old fashioned pom that didn't like it here , because they couldn't talk over the fence to your neighbour and piss in the pocket of everyone over a pint of bitter at the local --- and Liverpool beat everton --- and so on --- this is Australia mate !!! get used to it .

Go for a bevvy down the local boozer, La....... you'll meet some Aussies, twat them with a bottle, steal their wallet & leg it from the bizzies kidda! Sound.......

On a serious note, I'm an Aussie that lived in Liverpool for over 6 years & married a Scouse girl (not in that order). Best move I ever made was coming back to Australia. Great city to visit but I wouldn't want to live there......... certainly didn't want my kids growing up there thats for sure!!!!
