People didn't waste time, they spent more time getting to really know people by meeting them in person. The internet has turned the world into hermits, liars, and sexual predators. It's a shame really. Of course, people weren't as corrupt and hateful as they are now. I am not saying the internet is the cause, but people who can't get their face away from it, is to blame. By the way, before the internet was invented, we had so much fun.
