I'd wait the month and get a PS3, and make sure to get a warrenty espically with it being a first run. If you have the money the PS3 should be at least as good and will have almost any game the 360 has. Obviously there will be some exclusives on each system BUT most third parties will be on both and most likely be at the same time. The main reason I'd pick the PS3(although that is because how you worded the question I am still pissed and won't get one because they are lowering the price 20% in Japan to compete with the 360 BUT won't do it in America) is that you get the Blu-Ray player with it. Would I really want a blu-ray player? No but face it you get one FREE. Come on Blu-Ray players would run over $600 on their own BUT you get a good video game system as well. Not going to say great yet as I haven't played one to say anything on them. Some will cry they lost the rumble on PS3,. I say who will miss it? Yeah as the technology gets better it will be good to have it, espically if you heard how they plan to get it better. Now by then Sony will proably either have their own version of rumble that is as good or they will give in to teh company that has teh patent and add it to their controllers again. Personally I do like my 360. Just telling you if you would want a PS3 anyway, as the wording sounded, there are great reasons to wait.
OK Lance has no clue what he is talking about. Microsoft DOESN'T have a device out to play Blu-Ray and likely won't put one out. They have a device to play HD-DVD. That is the ALTERNATIVE to Blu-Ray. It is also likely to be the loser. Sony has most studios behind Blu-Ray or BOTH. HD-DVD has people like Intel behind it. Hmmm the Movie Studios who MAKE movies or a computer chip company and maybe computer companies(I think apple is behind it.) Which would you prefer in YOUR corner? I would want the people who make the movies, they will be the ones who pick which format they put it on.

definetly got with the 360 i have 1 the controls are 10 times easier the game selection if far better and the graphics are much better plus it is cheaper the playstation will never really be able to compete with the 360 they have taken all this time to try and make it better all this time now they are going to have blue ray not 2 months after that was put out microsoft already has a device they plan to distribute to play blue ray with the 360 and even after buying that you will still be able to beat the price the hastle and still have a way better gaming experience with the 360

well, if your going to wait for ps3, you will have to wait for the games to come out too. So, if you buy xbox 360, you can always sell it whenever you want to.... Or if your rich, buy both.... I can give you mine, only it has a minor problem..hehe..
