Weird, not at all....
I'm certainly making up for it now. My 2 girls are grown with children of their own and I have them come for sleep-overs.
We always have a great time!
Also, we're never too old for a pajama party ~ I've even had a couples stay over.
For those of you thinking something different... Sorry, it was just good clean fun :*)

when [60's] i was a kid we did not do sleepovers, most of my friends shared bedrooms with their sisters/brothers so there was not room ..when i was a young adult with kids, we had more space and that is when it started for my kids....now kids at kindergarten level are doing it alot.....all the way to high school it is the in thing to do.......

i didnt when i was little, but had them when i was 14 + cos then you can stay up later and have more fun. have one now - invite youre friends over, eat lots of chocolate cake, drink lots and watch scary movies. great fun!!

You probably wet the bed and your parents were embarrassed you'd show them up. Actually i didn't either but then I DID wet the bed.
