Thanks for all your advice - but luckely I already fixed the problem... I'm not a fussy person and I decided to get a refund and quickly find a new dress... And you know what? I like this one even more that the other one... Unlucky for my date - he has to go and get another tie now... Just wanted to know what you would have done....

Oh god.....the ultimate nightmare! I'm so sorry to hear about this.....can anything be done to repair the damage? If not, rent one and then seek to recover damages from the ones who ruined the first one. I bet if you had to take them to court over it, you could recover the cost of the first dress plus any rental fees for the second one. Good luck, sweetie!

You know what???? A dress is obviously important when it comes to a prom.... but let me tell ya... My last prom was 17 years ago... and all i can remember is that I wore a lavender dress.... have to pull out the photo album to remember what it looked like.... However, I can remember the people, the fun, and staying out all night with my friends and not comming home until the morning.... I never did that before or again (stay out all night in highschool) .... Mostly I remember the grace that my parents had on me and NEVER 1 time said a word about it.... It was an awesome night... and 1 I remember as bringing me a leap closer to becoming an adult..... Dress important... the night, the people, and the memories... so much more important.... go and find a new dress and have a great time!!!!!

either get another dress, fix the one you have, or not go to the prom. Reality check, yes it is a big event in your life, but you have so many dances and good times in front of you, don't sweat it.

well i wouldnt be caught dead in a dress to start with (have always been a major tomboy)..

but anyways if i absolutely had to wear one, then i'd probably rejoice that the frilly thing has been messed up and i'd have an excuse to throw on that sexy two piece number i really wanted to wear.. hehehehehe

but i wouldnt fret about it..

eesh.. i wonder what i'm going to wear on my wedding day???? maybe white jeans and make it a denim theme wedding.. hehehehe - i lie..

Only 3 things you can do~~~~~
Go buy another.
Make them fix that one.
Don't go to formal prom.

Screaming and hollering only waste energy. Form a plan of action quickly.
