My favorite is the Miller beer commercial showing a one-horse sleigh going through a winter landscape while I'll Be Home For Christmas plays in the background. No dialogue until the very end when everybody is just wished a Merry Christmas without Miller trying to sell anything. I haven't seen it for a few years.

Last Christmas, there was a commercial showing a whole bunch of soldiers arriving at an airport fresh from the deserts of Iraq. The entire airport cheered, cried, hugged and so on. It was so touching knowing that so many soldiers are without their families during such a great season!
I have since seen it re-done without any of the Christmas themed items.
I think (?) it was Ford who sponsered the commercial. You may not support the war, but its good to support the troops and their families!

I really like the coke commercial from the '70s. Were they are standing on a snowy hill and all these people sing the song.
"I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony,...."
that was a great christmas commercial. It had coke bringing the whole world together. Also hallmark has great commericals especially at christmas time.

My Christmas favorites would be the Coca Cola polar bears and the Coca Cola truck lighting up.

A few years ago there was (I think) some regional to this area commercials for a department store with "Three Mo' Tenors" with some women singers that were absolutely adorable. Haven't seen them the last few years. I think they were for Marshall-Fields. Maybe they aren't as regional as I think.
