it's for a letter i'm writing to a company. the lady wrote have a nice day at the end of her letter and i wish to do the same but in her language (italian)

If you want to say have a nice day in Italian and it's an e-mail that will arrive the same day, you write 'buona giornata.' However, if you're writing a letter that won't necessarily arrive that same day, it would make more sense to write 'La saluto cordialmente.'
