Too bad you didn't tell us what interface we're talking about, because a $200 AGP card is MUCH different from a $200 PCI-E card.
If you're stuck on the AGP bus, the 7600GT is the card to buy, although they can now be had for $150, with $40-50 rebates. I personally would wait another week or two, though, and buy an AGP X1950 Pro. It will be ~twice as fast as a $250 7800GT, for roughly the same price, if not slightly higher.

i'd not in any respect evaluate giving/promoting a dogs to someone who couldn't arise with the money for more effective than $2 hundred for a dogs. i'd anticipate a relations to have a minimum of $2000 accessible to spend for emergency costs, and so on...I recommend you try a goldfish.
