Yes, there are plenty of girls that are as physically strong as some guys. However, if a man and a woman have the same workout routine and nutritional regimen the man will almost always end up stronger than the woman. Women are not built to be as physically strong as men. Men have a high amount of testosterone compared to what (most) women do not have. Men have about 20 times what women have naturally. Testosterone helps you grow muscle mass and strength.

Take a male and a female, same size, age and BMI. Put them on identical diets / lifestyle and fitness regime but allow each to develop to their maximal and the man will ALWAYS end up stronger. Why? Easy. Testosterone. Males produce more which creates greater and faster muscle density not to mention the increased aggressiveness and competitiveness and so harder training. Ask yourself why over the centuries man have fought the wars. It's only of late that women are starting to appear on the front line and then only rarely. Women should seek to excel in every field but cannot naturally compete physically for strength with the equivalent male. But don't let that stop you going to the gym ladies! Women should play to their strengths and areas where they are naturally better than men rather than trying to compete against them. We are different and that's good.

Yes and no...if you are genetically from stock which produced large-boned, strong women, then it would be possible. Quite afew of strong-as-men women have been know to pop up out of the Eastern Bloc countries like Russia and the Ukraine, etc. But since you speak of "girls", yes, I do also believe it is possible when these sort of women were also capable in their youth to demonstrate their genetically inherited strength! Lots of milk early in life always helps to develop bone and muscle growth for both girls and boys.

Some girls are physically stronger than some guys.

But no guy can multi-task the way almost any woman can.

Just ain't no justice in this world.

Of course. No matter what someone tells you, there are females out there that are stronger. Read magazines and bodybuilding.com. It's not just for guys anymore. Females are getting big on physical strength.

Comparing like for like, the answer is no. Look at the Olymipcs and world records. The fastest at any distance is a man, the biggest throws, the strongest lifts etc...everything, all the records are held by men. Women start to hold records in events that involve other skills like the brain, like shooting. But when it comes to physical events, the male body is just genetically designed to excel while the female body is meant to excel in many other arenas.

But when you are not comparing like for like, then hell yes, many women can be stronger than men. Not all men are buff, so any woman who works at her body can truly overtake your average man.

I'm mentally as strong as any man, if not stronger... but physically... no... I'm a weed... I always need to go next door to my neighbour who happens to be a good looking farmer to help me get lids off stuff.... or I wouldn't bloody ever eat!

Yes they can. Not that I'm particuarly proud of it but my nickname at school used to be 'Migrant Worker' (not meant in a horrible way I might add!) I was known to be quite strong and used to arm wrestle the guys during free periods for amusement!

Don't be fooled by women being smaller hee hee!

Pound for pound as in like bench pressing, I have to say no. But in other areas women can be just as strong as men are in many many ways.

Of course not. Think about it. Some girls are stronger than some men, but the strongest female weightlifter in the world can not, and will never be able to lift as much as the stongest male weightlifter in the world. Thats just the way it is. I'm a girl by the way and weak as hell, but am skilled in different ways.
