Stop giving the kid cow's milk. It's an early sign of asthma which is caused by an allergic reaction to cow's milk. Cow's milk is for baby cows, not humans. There's too much fat and undesirable proteins for kids, not enough iron, etc in milk. Go to http://www.drmcdougall.com and research it yourself if you want some backup. Took my kids off it and the cough went away in a couple of days.

homeopathic remedies can be found in health food stores. DO NOT USE ANYTHING WITH HONEY IN IT!! babies under 1 yr old cannot eat honey...it can cause them to have botulism poisoning. go to the doctor if the cough lasts longer than 1 week. it can be an infection, allergy, any number of things...i hope this was helpful.

I assume its been going on long enough that you are concerned.
Babies don't have much immunity and potential infections should be taken seriously.
It may be an allergy, it may be a virus, it may be an infection.
Only your DR will help you learn how to tell the difference.
If you don't like your DR, try another one.

My grandson had a cough...it could have been a deadly situation. Get to your doctor immediately, don't mess with it.
