Usually it means that the web site you are visiting is down or overladen with traffic so it is nothing to do with you and all you can do is wait until that site has fixed the problem.

Post complete details of when you encountered the error and maybe we can help.
Exactly what were you doing? What operating system are your running? What program were you running? What was the EXACT error message?
If you encountered this error on a website, there's NOTHING that you can do about it. The site owner has to fix it; the problem is NOT on your machine.

I assume you are not a software developer and this is not your own site. In that case, there is nothing you can do other wait for the site to be up again.
If its your own site, the error can occur due to a variety of reasons depending on which language the site is in (Java/ASP/PHP etc) and what code it is.

generally it means that the site you are going to is either down or is mega busy or someone forgot to put a page in he proper place..there is nothing you can do to fix it..I would suggest you retry the site at a later time

If it's a website that has shown you this error, it means there's something wrong at their end, and not yours, so until they sort it out, you won't be able to view the website.

It might be a problem of trying to execute erroneous server-side script mostly ASP or ASP.net
