Scientology was develop during the 60ties when the cold war was a full blast and nuclear exange betwen the USA and Russia seem inmident. A lot of people built Nuclear shelters in their own homes. LRH left instructions to built a shelter to conserve all Scientology materials in case of a disaster of this magnitude. All stories about aliens are just false.
