Do you remember FDR. Elected president 4 times. At that point we got presidential term limits and it is a good thing. Frankly I wish we had term limits on congress as well. These people feed at the public trough for a lifetime and we just keep electing them. Some new blood would be nice. Like no Teddy, no Nancy, no Harry, no Hillary. Maybe I should run.

We get this stupid question every 8 years. Remeber, in 2000, Clinton was supposed to declare himself emperor. It was the republicans that introduced presidential term limits as a response to FDR

No, but I'm pretty sure a bill was introduced to repeal the 22nd amendment by Democrats. I don't know if it passed or not.

That would take a constitutional amendment, and I don't see that happening in my lifetime or yours. Right now, the Republicans are dead meat with the public.

I'm not too sure about it! But if I hear about something like this going down behind our backs, we will have to live with that incompetent tyrant in office for even longer! Maybe indefinitely!
