You will have to consider what she is doing during the day. Is she playing hard or watching the tube? Too long a nap during the day? Does she have food allergies (red food coloring is a big one)? Does she drink caffeinated soda before nighttime? You are the best judge of what she is doing that causes her interrupted (or no) sleep. Good Luck!

I raised six kids and have six + grand kids...just to help my credibility on this :))

Two year olds have more energy than a nuclear reactor. What diet do they have? Veggies? Picky eating stage? Candy? Too much juice? Sneaking sips of soda?

Maybe it is LANS. Late Afternoon Nap Syndrome. I have seen my kids let the little ones take a late nap, instead of taking them out for a walk or getting them involved in some activity, just to get that break for a while.

Then they ask the same question, why is my child not sleeping at night? I would love to tell you it will get easier, but I would be really full of it then!!

a child that age is very active all day long, you might try giving your two year old a nap for at least 1-2 hours during mid-day. a child may need a dark room and no toys.

Make sure he eats before six and not after, make sure he does drink before six and not after. Play with him all day to make him tired so he can sleep better for the night, tell him a bedtime story and kiss him good night.
