the truth is they have a good idea where he is. I've talked to people that have been there, and I know a little bit of my history.
Ever wonder why the Russians got held up in a decade long brutal quagmire in Afghanistan and we seemed to take it over and topple the Taliban so quickly? the truth is the Russians went into the mountains where Osama is holed up in, and each time they got slaughtered. The mountains are high the terrain is rough, and riddled with caves.you take a helicopter up there and you are a sitting duck for a rocket launcher.
I've talked to a few marines and army personnel that have been there, and they both told me that they have a good idea where he is, but going in that area to get him would cost thousands, maybe tens of thousands of lives. He's not worth it.

It is interesting that some answerers don't recognize the difference between Osama and Obama. No doubt some partisans will attempt to confuse one with the other when Obama runs the next time.
