The Littlest Hobo, wow i havent seen that in years, how sads this i got the theme tune in my ipod! i didnt like lassie unfortunatly the best is always forgotten about, lassie is still going (the movie was out last year!)

Obviously it was the Littlest Hobo as he travelled the country looking for people in need. Lassie was usually in one place with one family and I have a suspicion that most of the problems she 'solved' wouldn't have happened if she hadn't been there in the first place. You can't tell me one family can have that much bad luck!

I might be biased, but I have to say the Littlest Hobo - I used to sob my heart out at the end of every episode when he left the person he helped and hit the road again!! Also, he offered psychological help for the lonely rather than physical help, and sometimes that's the best way to save someone...

Lassie only seemed to help people the owners knew (lassie was really a he). Iwould have to say the littlest hobo as he would help the most needy whever he went.

Gotta be the Hobo; he'd walk all over Canada helping people out, whereas Lassie would always be saving stupid lil' Timmy, who'd invariably fallen down a well or something else stupid.

i loved both those i watched lassie when i was a kid and i watched the littlest hobo with my brother when he was a kid so it is a difficult question to answer

The littlest Hobo beacause he travelled around helping random people, whilst Lassie was a selfish b*stard and tended to stay within leggin it distance of his pesky farm!!
