Hitting your spouse is ALWAYS wrong(that goes BOTH ways). If I were a cop I'd arrest you BOTH for mutual spouse abuse. Sorry, I know that's not what you want hear. Needless to say your relationship needs some professional help ASAP.

That's not a reflex,you wanted to hit her.It is not right to hit a woman at any time Your probably much stronger than her,and can take the little tap she gave you.The best thing for you to do is walk away,no matter what.Guys who hit women are not men,they are weak minded little boys.

Hitting each other is wrong...period. It doesn't matter who hit who first. Being physically abusive with each other isn't going to solve anything and will only serve to make the problem worse. Seek anger management classes for the both of u.

very wrong, either way but a man to hit a women is demeaning not only to the woman but to the man himself. Reflexes nor any other excuse is acceptable to me, there are underlying problems with temper, anger management or the relationship. This is not the place to solve your problem, seek professional help.

Of course it is wrong to hit, no matter who hits who. Try to walk away next time instead of hitting her, and while you are walking, keep on going. You don't need to put yourself in this situation. At somepoint the police may become involved and you both will wind up in jail on domestic violence charges, whether she hit you first or not.

You both need anger management counseling---HITTING is wrong---no matter who does it...and using the old reflex response is just stupid---YOU did it ...you're in control of your body...and your brain---so don't blame it on anything but YOUR RAGE-----Violence is wrong----If I had been your spouse---YOU would've been sitting in JAIL and an ORDER OR PROTECTION for domestic abuse would've been file against you.
Spousal abuse is escalting throughout the US and other countries. PEOPLE need to think before they provoke---and learn to WALK away----instead of resorting to physical abuse and domestic Battery---
ANGER can get some one killed----and you both really need to seek counseling---before something happens that will cost you both time in the department of corrections!

Where I come from this would mean jail time for both of you. Something is wrong with this relationship but, I can't answer it now. I think it's to far gone and will lead to worse offenses. One will have to leave the relationship.

You both need help with your tempers, when an argument escalates into physical violence, anyone who hits their partner, whether male or female is in the wrong. You both need serious help to over come your violent tempers.
