Yeah, yeah I do that! During the last world cup, I even hung the washing out with consecutive red, white and blue pegs! Aren't we a pair!

I thought I was the only person that does this! My boyf thinks I've got an OCD when I do it! I also have to make sure that the pegs match, I can't possibly put a red one and a yellow one the same item of washing - even if it had a red and yellow pattern. I would choose pegs of the most predominant colour.
I suggest, for those tricky no matching peg situations, a nice white clothes peg or the traditional wooden ones 'go' with most things!

I absolutely hate doing the laundry, to me it is the most tiresome thing to do around the house. You are admirable going into so much trouble over it. Most probably it started for fun & turned into an obsession. Remember clothes don't care! If I knew where you live I'd send you pegs in all colours, but now all I can do is just tell you to either buy clothes to match all your pegs or buy one colour clothes. Ah! better yet buy a dryer!

I do this all the time,,, Infact everything has to match even socks next to each other using the same colour pegs,,,I get all flustered if i dont do it that way even when Im in a rush - arnt we strange!! Dont like wooden pegs they eventually mark clothes - stich with coloured ones and keep doing what your doing and remember things could be worse - we could be doing much more other compulsive things like these people who continously wash there hands till they bleed!! Keep up the matching colours!!!

Nope, try getting pegs that are all one colour and throwing the coloured ones away. I do have a specific way of putting the clothes on the line, but no dilemmas. You may suffer with an obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) if it seriously affects your general life, if so get help now.

When you mention Pegs, are you rerferring to Clothes Pins?
I seldom hang clothes to dry on the line, but if I do, I use plastic ones for my whites, and wooden ones for the rest of my laundry. The wooden ones tend to get a rust color on the clothing if they have gotten wet. That is why I only use the plastic clothes pins on the white items.
Just curious !!!!

Nooooooooooooo.
I've never even thought of doing that.
Now it's been brought to my attention, I bet I start doing it!
Maybe you should get a load of wooden pegs so you have no option, or you could always paint some wooden ones to match your clothes.

In fact I do :). Not that I will die if I don't but I certainly like my laundry to look nice. I'm trying to make the whole thing more fun than it is by experimenting with colour combinations.

Oh dear, I am afraid you need to have more to do, more on your mind.
Why not put all the pegs away and buy a set of wooden ones ?
