Then you both lose contact with each other and you still sometimes think of her and your current spouse gets mad because you want to know how she is doing. Am I wrong for wanting to know how she is and why am I?

No your not wrong for what you think. If that friend was a big impact on your life tell your chick and if she gets all mad on why you want to see her I think it would be jealously but who knows. Look just do it and just deal with the consequences.

How long have you known your spouse? If you have know your best friend for longer than your spouse (or longer than you have been with her) then sure you are right! A friend from before is a friend now! I could understand why your spouse would get upset if you only met this girl after you got married.

You are not wrong for wanting to know how she is. You don't even have to bring it up to your spouse. If you're using a lot of time and attention in some effort to locate this former friend, however--time and attention that could be devoted to your family--then you might want to rethink your priorities.

If it makes your spouse angry and upset, yes it is wrong. As a husband your wife feelings should take precedence over your own desires. Keep pursuing this and you may be asking for real trouble in your marriage.

I assume that you are a guy and your girl is jealous. I don't see anything wrong with missing an old friend. Just reassure your girl that you love her and want no other and your friend is nothing more than a friend.

try and get in contact with her. he shouldn't get mad with you. maybe he should be a bit more tactful but he's probably just bored with the topic. Other that that, it's not really up to him who you are friends with, or want to spend time with.
