Need to remove this "popcorn" thing, it's driving me crazy! My control panel will not let me remove it; help!

right well you could try a system restore by taking your computer back from the time before you put it on.
here is how to do it.
Go to your start menu them to programs now go to accessories
then to system tools then find system restore
click a window will come up so click next
now you should see a small calendar go back to the date you
put this popcorn thing on your computer
shade that date then click on next
now your computer will do the rest
