if god actually exists then he wont have a religion because religions were only created so the higher archial members of the church could control the poor and pretty much tell them what to think- the rich only believed in having a religion because they could use religion to explain their wealth (and thus feel no guilt about having such a better life than others- because 'god chose this life for them')
if u ask me religion is really not important- those who have a faith just use it as a way to disagree or find reasons to support things that they have no way to formulate an argument for...the only excuse they find it "the bible says, the kuran says etc etc"
People have just continued the tradition of having a religion becaus ethey do not want to fall under "God's wrath"!

God had descended one religion after another and to the final religion of Islam. Have you ever thought of the reason why?
We are the one who had caused all these troubles. God loves his creations and he won't just leave his creations unguided but the disobedience of us in ignoring even a few (Ten) commandments had made him to descend even more restrictions to us . Sending prophets after prophets to guide us
and yet during the descending of Christianity, people had created
a foolish sin that God will never forgive, worshiping Jesus instead of him, and declared Jesus as the son of God even to the extend of altering the contents of the Bible. The holy Quran is the last book descended by God which consists of 6,666 commandments. Islam consists of FIVE PILLARS:- 1. Testimonial of the one and only God, Almighty Allah and his last messenger Mohammad. 2. Prayers 5 times daily, 3. Fasting during the month of Ramadan. 4. Donations to the poor. 5. Pilgrimage to God's house in Mecca. Islam emphasize the importance of cleanliness physically and mentally throughtout
our lives. Go through the religion of Islam, compare it with any religion as you wish, this is the one and only true religion on earth.
You won't regret it.

Uncle Billy is right. God doesn't need a religion. It's what's in your heart. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me." So God's true religion is the one who believes in Jesus and follows Him.

Please learn to speak proper English first and please stop using pseudo-Christian names when you are a foreign Muslim student here to study in the civilized world because your "Islamic Country" doesn't have quality education. And please stop "asking" these provocative questions to which your pro-Islamic friends will come and "reply" with a whole lot of Islamic Propaganda.

In Islamic terms it's blasphemy. Because according to Islam, "La illah il illah" There is no God, but God. and you have dared to ask what is His Religion, in mockery!? In your own Country, you'd be stoned to death for this, because a mullah or Ayatollah would have issued a Fatwa on you.
I wish you people were in your own countries and your mullahs had seen what you've written!
We wouldn't need to suffer your nonsense for long then.

As a Baha'i, I personally beleive that God is the source of all good religion, so instead of being an adherant, which implies that he follows religion, he instead is an author of religion, so your question really pertains to God in and of Himself, meaning He is His own religion.
