Ray Allen is the best shooter in the league and he has the best looking jumpshot. Dirk has the best shot for a 7-footer but he looks over most of his defenders. Ray is only 6'5, the shortest out of all of them and he shots over bigger defenders all the time.

Ray Allen may very well be the greatest shooter to play in the NBA in the last 20 years. Nowitzki, Redd, and Stojakovic are all very very good shooters, but in my opinion, Allen is just the best out there.

Last year dirk has been taking the ball to the rack, instead of taking the jumpshot. Now out of those 4 I would pick Ray Allen, he did win the 3-point shootout last year did he not. But if I had to pick the best shooter in the NBA, then it would have to be T-Mac, or Ben Gordon.

I would have to agree with knowledge. Ray Allen and dirk. Perhaps dirk is such a good shooter because he is so tall. But i love him...he has a great shot for a player his hieght. As for ray, yes he has a great shot, if his team was as good as him they would win the chapionship...I remeber in the 2005 playoffs, when my FAVORITE team (Spurs...w2hoop whoop-allez spurs!!! lol) was going up agaisnt rays team, he really began to worry me...imean he just wouldnt miss!! lol, but luckily my spurs held it together and went on to win the champonship.
Now, ok out of ray and dirk, i have to say dirk is the better shooter. I mean most players rays hieght shout be great shooters. But the players dirks hieght, cant shoot worth a dang. So the fact that someone his hieght can shoot so well is impressive, as for ray, nothing special (but still a great shot).
The best is Dirk!!!

ps sillybaby, while i love the spurs, and bruce bowing is one of my fav players, i dont think hes better than dirk. Imean he makes it when its neccisarry, but i like bruce more for his defense. I love my Spurs!!!!

Allen and Nowitzki...both are very good and perhaps the best on their teams.
