Like BCE ECB EZB EKT and EKP. Also, what are the islands at the bottom of the map? It´s amazing what one wonders.

Thanks, there are more islands though, in boxes next to the canaries. Do you know what those are?

The islands are the Canary Islands. They're officially part of Spain.
The letters are the abbreviations for the European Central Bank, in the various languages.

Those are islands in the Caribbean, which, along with French Guiana, are former / current French colonies (for example, Martinique) which were using French francs and now use the Euro.
