Do you want "reasons" or "ways they are descriminated against?" Or are you looking for "popular excuses" for descriminating against gays?

Because if you're looking for "reasons" there aren't any!
NONE

If you want to know in what way we are descriminated against, we might be here a really long time. I can give you a quick answer: THOUSANDS of ways.
Or there's the long answer, you'll have to email me for that.

If you're looking for "popular excuses" that's easier than "ways in which we are."

Ignorance
Fear of the unknown
Fear of the "different" (Xenophobia)
Religious intolerance, bigotry and hypocracy
Social intolerance and bigotry
Inferiority complexes of the non-gays to make seem more miserable than themselves in an futile effort to make themselves feel better
"Issues"

As I stated before, there are NO REASONS for descrimination at all. We're all human beings, we all feel, we all bleed, we all need to love and be loved.

Some gays (75% ?) are unfortunate because they are nice people and dont deserve it .

Some of them (25% ?) have a bad attitude and blame the discrimination on their being gay when in fact they would be disliked the same amount if they were straight. Its easy to blame the obvious difference as the problem . Its like a black man playing the race card when he was the obnoxious troublmaker. Most people gay or straight do not see there own faults and blame something else.

These 25% help feed the homophobia.

Here is a quote I use a lot that can apply here," Fear what you destroy, destroy what u fear." Maggie Shayne
Yes it's a romance novel but that quote can apply here too.
Also theres certain religous groups that translate the Bible as saying it's a sin and those certain people are going to go to hell.
Then theres norrow minded folks who just don't like anyone different then what they think is normal.
As for me I have nothing agains't them. If they can find love in this cruel world then more power to them.
Hope this answer helped.

Because these intolerant haters worst fear is finding out their kid is gay. They hate gays with a passion that should be reserved for terrorists and pedophiles, but instead is vented on average folks who are trying to live their lives in peace who just ahppen to be attracted to the same sex.

Personally, the idea of being with another man makes me queasy. I am attracted to females. But that's where my analysis of homosexuality ends. I don't understand why some feel I need to start being hateful, suspicious, or disapproving of gays because of this.

These people who are gay bashers hide behind the bible as their instructional booklet for hate. But I ask those ignorant, tortured souls this question:

Would Jesus do what you are doing?

There is no reason for discrimination against another human being. The usual excuse is fear and misunderstanding, however this is still no reason for discrimination, therefore your question has no "reasonable" answer.

I have no clue why gays are victims of discrimination. I mean, I'm a Christian and believe that the practice of homosexuality is a sin just like the practice of heterosexuality is a sin when practiced outside of marriage. There are all sorts of sins in the world and in people, sin doesn't discriminate. Why people choose one sin to rant and rave about and condemn people for makes no sense to me. One thing I always *try* to remember: When I point a finger at someone else, I notice that three of my own fingers are pointing back at me. My sins are no worse or better than anyone elses, and if more people would realize that, I believe we would have a more peaceful world in which to live. Peace.

The song says, "everybody needs somebody that they can look down on". My belief is that, in these polically correct times, gays and Christians are the only sub-groups that it is acceptable to persecute, so people do.

All the monotheistic faiths consider sex between men an abomination, sin, whatever.
this conservative view is still dominant even in modern societies, although it appears that in western Europe, especially UK, homosexuals are more open and accepted by the society.

They were not discriminated through all history of mankind (ancient Greece...). It came since the rise of Christianity. Christianity see sexuality as the tool for making babies (emotions, love or sexual desires-specially for women-are not so desired) and because gays can't make babies, their love is not desirable.
