Sounds like you are trying to get into someone elses account? You have to know enough info. to prove it is your account before Yahoo will open it for you.

You can try sending an email to a Yahoo! Customer care via the link below. That's really all you can do besides sit there and keep guessing (short of bruting the account, which we shouldn't get into). The security feature is meant to keep people out of your account, and if you're not the owner of the account... then it's working ;)

you are able to attempt sending an e mail to a Yahoo! shopper care by potential of the hyperlink under. it quite is quite all you're able to do besides sit down there and shop guessing (in need of bruting the account, which we could continually no longer get into). the risk-free practices characteristic is meant to maintain people out of your account, and while you're no longer the owner of the account... then it quite is working ;)

oh.. if that's the case.. i think you can't gain access to your yahoo mail account unless you know your password and/or the security question.. it's a must that you remember those things.

The following are the basic server settings for Yahoo! Mail:
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail name (your address without the "@yahoo.com")
E-mail address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (i.e. user@yahoo.com)

How to Add a New E-mail Account to Your Existing Profile
1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
2. Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
3. Click the Add button.
4. Click POP3, and then click Next.
5. Enter your e-mail account information.
6. In the Your Name box, type your name as you would like it to appear.
7. In the E-mail Address box, type your Yahoo! e-mail address, for example, user@yahoo.com.

5. Click to select the My Server Requires Authentication check box, and then click OK.
How to Control Deletion of Messages from the Yahoo! Mail Server
1. In the properties of the Internet E-mail settings, click the More Settions button.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Click to select the Leave a copy of messages on the server check box if you want to save your Yahoo! Mail messages on the Yahoo! Mail server as well as on your local computer. If you want your messages to be deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server once you have received them, do not check select this option.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Finish.
