Not every student needs a tution. In fact some parents feel that their child is week in some subjects and he needs a tution whereas some feels that tution may put their child on added advantage. the other reason for tution is that today where both husband & wife are on jobs do not find time to take care of child's study and feel that tution will make their child to use the off school time effectively. Also in today's age of competition tution provides Psychological advantage to the students in getting success in competitive examinations.

Depending upon the teachers and the place you stay. According to my experience, i'm just studying 11th, If you are in city it merely a waste of time, energy and money. But when i was living in my native it was a good practice. Now when when I came from my native it was a very bad and idiotic. Atleast you atleast go to a good tuition.

i feel yes. tuitions provide students with necessary guidance. however, the student/ parents should ensure that the student himself/ herself has his/ her originality of thoughts and shouldn't just cram things which the tutor teaches.
