P2P = peer-to-peer.

You want to download? A P2P client simply goes grabs what you want from other machines with the same P2P software as you.

Be VERY careful as P2P effectively allows anyone to access material on your PC. If you are using your machine at home you may find that your internet connection starts to run very slow. The more stuff you download with P2P the more chance there is you wil be sharing it with others.

If you don't want to share you can usually change a setting in the P2P software on your machine so that you can download but nobody else can access the data on your machine.
