Since Ron, my partner, and I celebrate our anniversary on New Years day, every year is a celebration. We met originally on Jan 1, 1980 at a New Years Eve party I had organized. It really was love at first meeting.(although we didn't officially move in with each other until about 3 months later.) I would say the most memorable anniversary was Jan 1, 2000.
We had planned a full weekend on the town to celebrate New Years eve and our 20th anniversary. However, we both developed the flu and spent the night curled up in a blanket watching the New Millenium come in around the world on television. We eventually just fell asleep sometime early in the morning, still curled in the blanket on the sofa. We woke up in a New Millenium, more convinced than ever how lucky we were to have each others love.

ROQ, we also have a New Year's anniversary! Our first wedding anniversary was last year. My wife and I spent all our money on Solstice and Christmas, so we stayed close to home. She taught me how to ice skate. Then we got home and snuggled with the cats, then snuggled with each other and scared the cats. :-) It was awesome.

any anniversary is good provided you can enjoy it. it is the matter of enjoying with it, not what kind of anniversary
