Those are the rules. Just make sure that you choose a best answer (3 points) then either answer another question or vote for 2 best answers and you are back where you were!!!

The alternative is to go out and see what the real world is like outside of Yahoo Answers, I've heard its OK.

particular, I thoroughly accept as true with you. yet then if each question is rewarded factors, then i've got self belief people could misuse the factor gadget by unnecassrily asking stupid questions. apart from, people positioned up inquiries to have their doubts cleared or for some or the different variety of help. for that reason, basically genuine questions might come forward. regardless of the undeniable fact that, Y!A isnt that un-considerate as we predict it to be. for each maximum suitable answer the asker chooses, he gets returned 3 factors of the 5 factors he lost on an identical time as asking. And if he doesnt get any maximum suitable answer chosen by the electorate then Y!A supplies returned each and all the 5 factors. Its a pity nevertheless that Y!A doesnt return the factors if no answer became given. i think of it may introduce that too. So on the top i've got self belief it to be justified that Y!A is nice in lowering factors for asking questions.

Perhaps you should choose your questions more carefully if the points mean that much to you.

If I mention that the points have no actual value, will I be spoiling anyone's fun?

OOPS!

It's not like you can cash them in or order merchandise with them.
