i have been diagnosed with an infection in my nerves. i believe the dr. kept using the initials d.s. while he was talking to me. i was very upset and wasn't listening very closely.it is supposed to be a progressive type of infection that could cause more nerve damage over time. any doctors with advice please help. i would appreciate any ideas from anyone.

Nerve infection/inflammation is commonly called neuritis-don't know what d.s. stands for. Isn't it M.S. for multiple sclerosis? Why not talk to your doctor again?
