Yes. As he became more successful, he changed his name to reflect more maturity. He also was "Larry" while on "Pee Wee's Playhouse".

Yes same guy.. In platoon and cadence it was Larry fisburne ..now hes older and more famous its Lawrence.. besides who wants to watch a Larry , Lawrence sounds more educated and dignified .. don't you think?

They are one and the same. When he was first started doing films and TV (Pee Wee's Big House) he used Larry. After some time he began to use his full name, Lawrence.

Same guy. Early in his career he went by Larry.
