Courtesy. Treat others how you would like to be treated. If more people did that more of the time, the world would not be where it is now.

Called common courtesy and respect. Christians receive it over Christmas, which the hooplah in the stores begins in October. You cannot turn on the tv without xmas specials or seeing christmas pointsettias on the desk on the evening news. Muslims and Jews and all other non Christians are forced to see this on their local news. Let alone going into a store to by toilet paper or groceries. I think for one month a year we can respect their holiday and it does not interfere with our day to day business.

No, we have to tolerate it. We don't have to respect it. We can let them have all the ramadan they want, but we don't have to like it, and we can openly ***** about it.

Just like I can openly ***** about people and their beliefs about god, or the lack there of.

Tolerance does not mean respect. The only thing we have to respect is their rights to do these things. Not what they do.

Freedom of speech= they can say what ever they want.
Freedom of speech= We can say what ever we want back.

Though personally I think ramadan is great. Fasting is a great way to get in touch with your humanity.
