yes, the media makes a big deal out of a .05 reduction in the price. I am 42 and can remember gas being .50 a gallon. $2.07 is great the lowest I have paid is $2.55 it sucks!!!

Don't be too concerned about your reaction to cheap gasoline. The price will go up after the elections. I predicted months ago that the prices would dip as low as the market would allow during the elections, but that it would skyrocket afterward. It's good you are ready for it to go up to $5 per gallon, since that's probably not far off the mark.
