Find a dance studio near you on the directory: www.ballroomdancers.com sign up for lessons and have fun. Lessons sound like a longer path, but there is no shorter path. Group lessons usually have an advantage of "no partner required". You can dance with people who are taking the class with you.

Take a look at "Non-Recital Dance" on this page: http://www.city.brampton.on.ca/parks&rec/catalogue/fw/dance.tml Contact info's at the bottom of the page.

You can also try searching for "dance" on this page: http://www.brampton.ca/bramptonEDO/content_bizdir/busdir_search.taf

I found these sites (and more) by typing "dance classes Brampton Ontario" in Yahoo! Search.

You could also ask a friend or relative to teach you for free.
