I am many things but my number one priority with my small children is being a mom. Some people have other priorities, but I put being a mother first. However, just to emphasize that beng a mom doesn't necessarily mean being dull or lifeless, I thought I'd better add "cool". Hey, if my two- and four-year-olds think I'm cool, it must be true! :) Other options may have been hot mamma, mama bear (one of the names my kids call me), . . I don't know. I'm pretty ok with cool mom. What about you? Tell us how you got yours and whether you're happy with it.

Vamedicca is a word I made up several years ago when I started on Yahoo. "Va" = Virginia; I had just moved here..."medic"= my job - I'm a paramedic..."ca"= California - I had just moved to Virginia from San Diego and, at the time, wished I was still there. I'm happy here now, but I still miss SoCal.

It also reflects my personality as I can be dead serious one minute and outright insane the next. Kind of like Howard Hughes.

I received a miraculous healing. By the Grace of God I was healed from incurable, degenerative, terminal illness. In 2001 I was given only 1 - 3 years of life - most of them in wheelchair, unable to speak, chew, swallow, walk ....
Today I no longer have that dreadful disease. I have been given the chance to raise my child - hence to be her Angel.

I used to be called Gandalfshadowfaxme, but then I got suspended, so I opened an account called Nolongeramused (No longer amused at Yahoo), but then that got suspended as well, so now I'm Still not amused at Yahoo, but that isn't my e-mail address anymore. If that makes sense...
